International Exchange Applicants

Welcome to step two of Kent State University’s online application process. Now that you have determined you are accessing the International Admissions and submitting an exchange application, please review this tip sheet BEFORE completing the online application.

In addition to saving time and paper, students who apply online will also be able to check their application status by using the login and personal identification number (PIN) established when starting the online application.

Step 2

To complete the application process an exchange applicant MUST review this list in order to gather necessary application materials prior to applying:

• Read these steps before you begin completing the application.
  • The application is divided into multiple sections to allow you the option of completing the application in one session or in multiple sessions. Click the ‘Finish Later’ button to save portions of the application you have already completed.
  • To return to complete the application at a later time, just enter your Login and PIN.
  • To check your application status, click the CHECK APPLICATION STATUS button found below on this page. Remember you will need your original Login and PIN to securely check your status.
• Apply online.
  • Create user login and PIN.
  • Write this information down and save it for later use.
  • Submit the online application.
• Submit the exchange certification of good standing. This form can be downloaded and printed from your application acknowledge email.
• Note: Exchange status is for non-degree students. Students wishing to enroll seeking a degree will need to apply for regular admission.
